News

Stroke Unit Modifications for the 14 bed Stroke unit are currently underway with the first stroke patients being admitted for rehabilitation late February. The 14 beds will be for those admitted for an intensive period of therapy.

Other services such as Physiotherapy will continue to operate as normal. If you would like to see your Consultant in The Vale Outpatients, please ask your doctor if this is possible.

Hospital Shop Christmas Our Christmas shop was very successful this year selling a range of Christmas Goods, as well as Christmas Cards. We had two successful coffee and cake days, which helped raise our total to over £1400, the most ever raised since running the Christmas shop. Thank you to all volunteers, those who donated goods and the small group of volunteers who manned the shop throughout the hours of opening.

Volunteers This year, we have boosted our funds through several events. This was down to the efforts of the committee and a small group of volunteers. If you would like to help, see contact details on our Membership page.
